Laurel Lake Camping Resort Rules & Policies

Laurel Lake has important rules and policies for the safety of all guests and staff. Please read each rule and/or policy fully to avoid any misunderstandings.

All Policies Effective as of January 2022

Campground Rules & Policies

  1. Check in is at 2:00 PM. Check out is at 11:00 AM.
  2. Guests must be at least 18 years of age for reservation and check-in.
  3. ALL motor vehicles must register with campground office. An approved LLCR parking pass must be visible to LLCR staff at all times. Vehicle can’t be parked in the road or blocking other vehicles. Otherwise, please speak with our staff for instruction on where to park other vehicles.
  4. All visitors must check in at the camp office and pay for entry into the resort.
  5. Quiet time is 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM from Sunday through Thursday and 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Friday  & Saturday. This means no radios, loud music
    or disturbing noises. All children are to be at your site/cabin during these hours.
  6. All fires must be contained in fire ring provided on campsite. No exceptions. Please put out fires that are unattended. Keep fires at a reasonable size. Do not move fire rings.
  7. Pets are permitted. However, all pets must be kept inside Cabin or Camper during the overnight/quiet hours. Any pets showing overly aggressive attitudes must be removed from the Resort. Nuisance Barking will not be tolerated. All pets must be on a short 6 foot leash or be properly trained to respond to training collars. Any pet that does not respond properly to training collars must be put on a leash. Pet fees: $25 per night for Cabins. There is a $10 per night ($45 per week or $150 per month) for tent and RV campsites. We do not allow unattended, noisy, aggressive pets on our premises. Failure to follow these rules will result in removal from campground and loss of deposit. Guests are responsible for cleaning after their pets. All animals must be leashed at all times when outside of your private RV/Tent.
  8. Limit of (2) motor vehicles allowed per campsite at any given time. Overflow parking is available for guests with more than 2 vehicles.
  9. Speed limit throughout the campground is 5 MPH. This will be strictly enforced. Speeding will result in a $25.00 fine.
  10. No dirt bikes, mini-bikes, go-karts, or mopeds are allowed in the resort. Golf carts are allowed, but guests must follow the Golf Cart Safety Rules & Policy.
  11. No parking in the grass. All vehicles must stay on graveled pathways.
  12. If trailers and/or boats will properly fit into camping site without creating issues with other campers, it will be allowed. Otherwise, they must be parked in overflow parking lots provided on the campground.
  13. Guests of LLCR are responsible of disposing of all garbage and food from their campsite or cabin upon departing the grounds. Garbage dumpster is available on grounds. Curbside garbage pickup is available from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
  14. LLCR has a stocked fishing pond on site. The privilege to fish in this pond does NOT require a fishing license as this is a private property. However, this is a “catch and release” pond. For safety reasons NO FISHING and NO SWIMMING is allowed after dark.
  15. Playground hours are from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM. Adult supervision is required for all children under the age of 12, including on inflatables.
  16. NO personal firewood permitted on campground.
  17. Visitor passes are $10 each and all visitors must check in at the front desk upon arrival. A maximum of 10 people permitted at campsite.
  18. Smoking is not allowed in any buildings. This includes shower houses, country store, bathrooms, laundry pad, cabins, etc. Please dispose of cigarette butts properly and do not litter.
  19. Alcoholic beverages are restricted to individual sites only. Please drink in moderation.
  20. No firearms, weapons or fireworks are allowed within the resort.
  21. All boats and trailers must be parked in the overflow parking lot provided on the campground property. No boats or trailers at any campsite.
  22. Firewood is available in the Camp Store. We’ll even deliver it directly to your site free of charge! Campfire are allowed in authorized fire rings ONLY! We do
    not allow out of state firewood due to pest and disease reasons. Please do not gather firewood from the forest.
  23. Due to COVID-19, all policies and procedures are subject to change without notice.

Anyone caught Disobeying Rules, Policies or Destruction of Property will be ask to leave the Resort and will be liable for any damages sustained during their stay. This includes Cabins & Campsites or any part of the Resort.

Waiver of Liability & Acceptance of Rules / Fees

When you stay with Laurel Lake Camping Resort, you acknowledge and represent that you have read and understand the following waiver of liability. I accept this waiver as my own free act and deed, no oral representations, statements, or inducements, apart from this waiver of liability have been made:

  • I am fully aware of the risk and hazards connected with the activities of camping, hiking, swimming, fishing and any other activities conceived or participating in, I am aware that such activities include the risk of injury and even death., and I hereby elect to voluntarily participate in said activities knowing the hazard that may be caused to me or my property. LLCR does not require participation.
  • Upon checkout all rooms are inspected before cleaning. Any signs of smoking found or damages to the property can result in your credit card being charged a fee up $500 up to 10 days after checkout.
  • Personal or Rented Golf carts are to be driven by a licensed driver unless accompanied by an adult. LLCR rented carts are to be used on gravel roads only. Any damages upon return will be assessed and a charge up $500 will be charged to your account or credit card on file. No driving any carts after dark as they are not equipped with lights.
  • No swimming after dark.
  • You agree to follow all the safety signage posted throughout the campground.
  • I am aware the wobble wave is restricted to a minimum age of 6 or 48″ tall. All participants are required to wear a LLCR life jacket fitted by a trained attendant, LLCR is not responsible for guest insisting on wear their own vest. All participants must follow all posted rules or will be asked to vacate the beach area.
  • LLCR is a private campground and has the right to evict any guest that is not obeying the rules and putting themselves or others in harm’s way.
  • You have 24 hours from the time you make your reservation to cancel your reservation with full refund of deposit. Anything after 24 hours please refer to our “Reservations, Payments & Cancellations Policy” section for full details.

Reservations, Payments & Cancellations Policy

Reservations

All new reservations require 50% of payment at the time of booking, both online and by phone.

Site numbers booked may be subjected to change without notice. We will make every possible attempt to keep you in your original booked site, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee your original booked site will be available. Final site number will be issued during check-in unless requested & guaranteed for $15 site lock fee.

Payments

All payments on reservations are final. No refunds, no exceptions. A credit for future reservation will be issued, if reservation is canceled 7 days prior to arrival. Anytime within 7 days of arrival, payment is forfeited and no credit is issued. Any no calls /no show’s are subject to be placed on blacklist.

Customer will be informed of these changes via website, social media (Facebook) and on company property cancellation.

Cancellation
We can not be held responsible for weather, illness, work schedule or other situations. Therefore, we enforce our cancellation policy regardless of circumstances as follows:
  • A credit for future reservation will be issued, if reservation is canceled 7 days prior to arrival.
  • Cancellations within 7 days of arrival will cause payment to be forfeited and no credits will be issued.
  • Any no calls /no show’s are subject to be placed on blacklist.

Pricing Policy

 Daily Rates
  • Starting at $49.00 for a standard back-in site
  • Starting at $59.99 for a pull-thru site
  • Starting at $89.00 for a luxury concrete back-in site
All rates include 2 parking passes (additional family or visitor passes are $10.00 each per day),  30 to 50 amp service, septic & water, and curbside trash pick up from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Any trash after 11:00 AM must be taken to the dumpsters yourself.

Wobble Wave Safety Rules & Policy

  1. All operating days and times advertised for the Wobble Wave are subject to change due to lack of staff and/or lifeguards.
  2. There are no refunds due to weather.
  3. Children must be at least 6 years old and 48″ tall to participate.
  4. Children under 54″ tall must be accompanied by an adult, ages 18 or older, at all times.
  5. No children under the age of 6 years old and under a height of  48″ will be able to access the Wobble Wave.
  6. Do not dive or swim under any product, part or piece of the Wobble Wave.
  7. No cell phones, cameras, GoPro cameras, or other video cameras are permitted.
  8. Animals are not permitted.
  9. Do not spit, squirt water, blow your nose or otherwise introduce any contaminant(s) into the water.
  10. Approved LLCR life jackets are required on the Wobble Wave, kayaks, and paddle boards. We recommend that all children in all water areas wear a life jacket. LLCR is not responsible for guest insisting on wear their own life jacket.
  11. Any person with excessive sunburn, open wounds or abrasions, and bandages of any kind is not permitted.
  12. Admission to the facility is refused to all persons having any contagious disease, infection, or any visible condition or the appearance of being infected.
  13. For your safety, access to the Wobble Wave is not permitted if you are pregnant.
  14. Those under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not permitted.
  15. Jumping into the water or pushing others into the water is not permitted. Do not jump from high products, part, or piece of the Wobble Wave onto any person.
  16. Access to the Wobble Wave is not permitted when there is heavy rainfall, thunder, and/or lightning. If lightning occurs, participants must wait a minimum of 30 minutes after lightning has subsided before reentering the water.
  17. Before entering the Wobble Wave, please remove any watches, jewelry, sunglasses, keys, or other sharp objects from your  pockets or person.
  18. Lifeguards or resort staff may expel people from the Wobble Wave, or any other area, who endanger their own safety or the safety of others. 
  19. Laurel Lake Camping Resort (LLCR) cannot be held responsible for any accidents that occur due to the improper use of the Wobble Wave or failure to follow the safety rules and policies outlined herein. 
  20. There are no refunds.
  21. All participants must follow all posted rules or will be asked to vacate the beach area.
  22. There are no exceptions to the rules or policies outlined herein.

Golf Cart Safety Rules & Policy

  1. These rules apply to all golf carts, side-by-side (SxS) and UTVs.
  2. Lessee must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  3. There is a $25 daily fee to register and use a personally owned golf cart on resort property. Long term rentals may pay $125 per month to use a personally owned golf cart. The $125 monthly fee also two guest passes per month, two VIP activity bands per month, and trash pickup.
  4. Operator(s) of golf cart must be 16 years of age and have in their possession a valid driver’s license OR be accompanied by an adult. You must be 16 years of age and have a valid ID and credit card to reserve and drive our golf carts.
  5. Golf carts that are not equipped with factory lights are not to be operated after dark. This also includes personally owned golf carts. Golf carts equipped with factory lights may operate until 11 PM.
  6. NO other forms of lighting shall be used as a form of lights for any golf cart.
  7. Golf carts must be operated safely and properly. Horseplay, racing, or other misuse of golf carts will not be tolerated. Standing on a moving golf cart is not permitted.
  8. Overloading of golf carts is not permitted. Each occupant must be in a designated seat.
  9. Carts are to be operated on resort gravel roadways only and not on or through sites or restricted areas. No off road riding.
  10. The speed limit in the resort is 5 MPH. There is a $25 FINE FOR SPEEDING AND THIS RULE IS STRICTLY ENFORCED!
  11. Violations of ANY Rules may result in confiscation of cart by LLCR staff. If a violation occurs, all payments will be forfeited. Privately owned golf carts will be grounded for remainder of stay.
  12. Any damages upon return will be assessed and a charge up $500 will be charged to your account or credit card on file.
  13. By using a golf cart, the owner/lessee, their guests, the golf cart operator, and all passengers understand and will obey all golf cart rules, policies, and regulations listed herein.
